and here was my Simply Colorful xB
Well, Simply Clean is officially over. It was a great turn out. More cars then we expected despite the super cold weather for Florida. I wanna thank everyone that came out and supported something so fresh and new. I will post pics as I see them from around the web.
A New Era… A New Movement…
Our good friend Scott basically summed up the whole idea behind Simply Clean,
“The whole “new era, new movement” is about more than just this one show. To the guys operating the whole Simply Clean idea, they are trying to help push the Florida car scene. There are a lot of very nice cars in our area, and while our enthusiasm for them gives us all a common bond, a lot of the owners would never meet each other due largely to the fact that there are so many smaller groups. If there can be a series of shows and events that get all these groups together, there is a good opportunity to get all these like-minded people to meet in person. Sharing ideas, techniques, and the like will benefit the scene on the whole. There’s nothing wrong with smaller groups still having their meets, and that’s a huge part of networking. But at the same time, it’s good to get them all in one place for the benefit of everyone.
As for the VIP/hellaflush/stance whatever people want to call it kind of vibe. That’s just one aspect. Obviously, stanced cars are one of the new “in” things, and there’s a lot of interest in that among many car folks right now. But as we all know, there’s more than one way to skin a cat (ew, I hate that phrase). But the SC guys and girls come from all different walks of the automotive spectrum, and have respect for anything, as long as it’s done “cleanly”.
Hope this kinda clears it up. And glad to see you and everyone else enjoyed the show.”
